Exhibition: Colours of Tasmania

Updated: Jan 14

This collection of paintings has been inspired by everything I’ve seen since landing in Tasmania seven years ago. The first thing I did was put on my sunglasses as the light was a little different to London. In those seven years, I have grown to love and appreciate the landscape of Tasmania, and in particular the colours which surround us.

From the bright oranges and turquoise of the east coast, to the soft grey mist wrapping itself around the shoulders of Mount Wellington.

To the greens and golds which spring up after the rain, and the rocky landforms of our mountains and coastlines. And as for the trees, I find them utterly enchanting.

It never fails to inspire me as an artist and I feel very lucky to live here. I hope seeing my work today will renew your appreciation of the environment around you.
