Elements 2022.jpg

Elements is an exhibition of paintings, prints and ceramics by mother and daughter artists, Rosemary and Hannah Blackmore.

Rosemary and Hannah have exhibited together many times in the past, however, not in the last ten years since Hannah moved to Tasmania, Australia.

It is with great pleasure for both Rosemary and Hannah to exhibit together again, and Le Don Hilton (the little white house you see in the image opposite) is a place that means a lot to both artists. St Ouen’s Bay has been a strong source of inspiration for Hannah, whose semi-abstract seascapes capture colour and light, and Rosemary, although best known for her paintings of the iconic Jersey cow, has always been inspired by the sea and nature, in particular the coast line of our beautiful island.

Rosemary will be exhibiting original paintings in both oils and watercolour along with ceramics and sculptures for home and garden. You can see her work on Instagram @rosemaryblackmore or at rosemaryblackmore.com

Hannah will be exhibiting a range of new acrylic seascape paintings on canvas, along with paintings on paper, and a collection of small prints and cards.

The exhibition runs for three days, from Friday 1st July to Sunday 3rd July at Le Don Hilton, St Ouen’s Bay from 10am-5pm, and both artists look forward to welcoming you to view their latest work.
